Mosaic for the new Pleasant Grove Branch Library

Currently on the work table are a series of suns. They will be a permanent installation in the new Dallas branch library in Pleasant Grove.

The substrate undulates under a wide variety of tesserae including mineral specimens and semi-precious stones. This close up shows malachite, chrysocolla, smalti, glass, turquoise, amazonite, paua shell, and more.
